This workshop will explore the numerous practice and ethical considerations involved in understanding and applying Organizational Ethics to contemporary social work practice. An emphasis will be placed on understanding and applying the responsibility a social worker has to one’s self and the agency’s responsibility to the social workers within the realm of organizational ethics. Issues explored will be: Code of Ethics, understanding organizational culture, managerial ethics, bureaucracy, ethical framework model, and risk management. This is an interactive workshop where case vignettes will be presented, and participants will work in a group setting to further maximize their understanding of the concepts presented.
